California Closets - Walk in Closet

We've lived in our Manhattan apartment on the Upper East Side for 9 years and wanted to spruce up our cloffice which wasn't functional enough for our lifestyle. I believe that you should live in your space for a while before making major changes but I think we waited too long to organize key spaces. NYC closet space can be challenging and I knew that we needed more options to store my ever evolving shoe collection. I had so many ideas of what to do and decided to have California Closets design our walk in closet. Kelly our design consultant came to our home and knew exactly how to make the room work as a his/her master closet. Sharing this space with my husband who has a huge media collection allowed me to think of a shelving system for his precious items. California Closets was able to design a space that fit our combined lifestyles. The next step was to finalize the floor plan and leave a 50 percent deposit. Once we did that we were able to schedule our appointment which took 8 weeks. It was worth the wait as our lives have forever changed and we were blown away by how beautifully crafted and custom fit our built-ins were.
